Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdul-Saheb, and the Chancellor of the Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, the first job fair was held on the courtyard of the university main chancellery KufaCampus. In his welcoming speech, the university Chancellor referred to its efforts to qualify graduates, hold training courses and workshops, and prepare them to engage in the labor market. He also referred to the role of the university’s work field advisory council and the support of partners in supporting and assigning the exhibition and communicating with private sector institutions. He also thanked the supporting bodies, the preparatory committee, and everyone who contributed to the event. It seems worthy to mention that more than 600 graduates who attended the exhibition presented their experience certificates. Several job interviews were conducted inside the halls of the university Chancellory. The show attracted the attention of the media, satellite channels, news agencies, and the press. At the end of the exhibition, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ghanem Waddy, the assistant president of the university for scientific affairs, distributed certificates of participation to the participating private sector institutions, who expressed their willingness for more cooperation in the future. They also praised the efficiency of the university’s graduates and the willingness of their companies to employ a large number of them who attended and presented during the exhibition.
