In a solemn ceremony, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University (ATU) celebrated the graduation of a new batch of its students for the academic year (2020-2021), as the number of graduates reached (8546) graduates in preliminary studies and (52) in postgraduate studies in various disciplines (engineering technology, medical and health, agricultural sciences, administrative and applied arts).
The ceremony, sponsored by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdel Sahib, was attended by many chancellors of public and private Iraqi universities, assistants, deans, and officials in the local government.
The Chancellor of the University, Prof. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, gave a speech in which he praised the efforts made by the university’s professors, affiliates, and scientific and administrative leaders, which were made to graduate this blessed batch, pointing to the outstanding achievements of ATU university in various fields over the past two years.
The Chancellor of the University of Kufa, Prof. Dr. Yasser Lafta Al-Ugaili, representative of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, gave a speech in which he praised the presidency of the university and its administrative and scientific leaders, professors, and affiliates for their excellent efforts, which made the university a distinguished edifice reputed among other universities. The ceremony included several activities and distributed gifts to the top students on the university’s formations.
