Under the patronage of the Chancellor of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University (ATU), Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, the Student Activities Department organized on the occasion of the university’s celebrations of the birth of the Great Prophet Mohammed “Peace be upon him”, Al-Meelad marathon for affiliates and students in cooperation with the Follow-up, Media, and Public Relations Departments.
The marathon was attended by the Governor of Al-Najaf City, Professor Louay Jawad Al-Yasiry, and the Chancellor of Jaber Bin Hayyan Medical University, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Baqir Fakhreddin.
The director of the Student Activities Department, Mr. Naseer Ahmed, indicated that the marathon was launched from the Al-Sahla Mosque to the university campus in the Holy Kufa, with the broad participation of the university’s employees and students.
In the end, the winning students and the officials of the student activities divisions in the university formations were honored.
