The inauguration of The Smart Halls Building at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University (ATU)

In another promising initiative, the Chancellor of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, inaugurated the smart hall’s building as a distinctly civilized edifice at ATU university main chancellery Kufa campus. The event was attended by the vice-chancellors, deans of faculties and institutes, directors of departments, and a large gathering of affiliates.
The two-story new Smart building includes model halls that simulate what exists in developed international universities. It meets various modern educational systems, whether electronic or face to face, and can be used for multiple purposes such as lectures, seminars, meetings, and workshops.
Solar panels fully power the building. It also has an infrared sensing lighting system, water taps for electricity and water savings, and many other features of international smart buildings.
