Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University celebrated the graduation of the fourth session of its students, “the Victory and Development Course”, in the presence of the representative of his Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Nabil Al-Araji Head of the Supervisory and Scientific Assessment Authority, the Governor of Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf, Mr. Luay Al-Yasiri and a number of university presidents and representatives of the holy shrines in Najaf and Karbala, and the responsible of “Al-Hashed Al-Shabie” Sheikh Qasim Al-Khakani along with number of guests, lectures, graduate students and their families.
Al-Araji said in his speech that the standards of scientific progress in universities are based on their scientific outputs, which reflect the great role of the professors and management of the university in the application of quality standards which is a measure of the achievements of its graduates. And solving problems, stressing that the current year in this direction and harvest the highest grades to enter the classification of HNDX.
For his part, the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Kadhim Jafar Al-Yasiri, talked about the most important scientific achievements in the development of scientific departments that meet the needs of the labor market, such as the Aviation Technology Department at Najaf Technical College of Engineering, Aviation Technology and Medical Instruments Departments at Al-Najaf Technical Institute. Faculty of technical Anesthesia at the technical Health and Medical Sciences collage / Kufa as well as the Department of Information Technology in the college of Management / Kufa and the Departments of Materials Technologies and Plant Production as well as the publication of many scientific researches in international conferences, international scientific Journals with high impact factor and production of tenth of the inventions in many important fields such as remount controlled aircrafts and the smart meter and the production of electric power using solar panels.
The President of the University gave the honorary graduation certificate for the martyrs of the “Al-Hashed Al-Shabie” and the honor of the outstanding students after the parade of students and lectures along with members of University Council, led by the Iraqi media campaign and pictures of the martyrs of the “Al-Hashed Al-Shabie”. The Governor of Al-Najaf honored the President of the University Shield of excellence and creativity for his Outstanding Efforts in serving the people of the province, as well as honoring outstanding students.
