From the province of Najaf Al-Ashraf… The Kufa Technical Institute at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University held its fourth International Scientific Conference of medical and biological technologies in partnership with Duhok Technical University, under the slogan “medical technologies are our hope for a better tomorrow” and for the period (2024/4/18-17) .
The opening ceremony was attended by the president of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Al-Zubaidi, Dr. Masoud Abdul Karim, representing the president of Duhok Technical University, Prof. Dr. IARI Adel, the president of the University of Kufa, Prof. Dr. Yasser Lifta Al-Agili, the assistants to the president of the University, the deans of Kufa, Najaf Al-Ashraf, Diwaniya and rumeitha formations, the directors of departments in the university presidency, as well as the advanced staff at the Kufa Technical Institute, researchers and specialists from Iraqi universities in the center and the region, the University’s affiliates and formations .
At the opening ceremony, Al-Zubaidi delivered a speech in which he pointed out the importance of scientific research in the development of the health and medical sector, pointing out that the university has achieved remarkable progress in the scientific research movement, as the number of research published in the scopes and clarifit repository has reached nearly (3000) three thousand papers, which contributed to the University’s entry into a number of prestigious international rankings locally, regionally and internationally, and all this would not have been achieved if our university did not have an educational staff that made scientific research a slogan and a unique practice of their work .
He also stressed his encouragement of Applied Research that addresses real problems in various sectors of society, hoping that such qualitative conferences will continue to be held to strengthen the partnership between the two universities and serve the educational process .
The conference aims to exchange experiences and learn about the latest technologies of medical, health and biological sciences, and research on typical diagnostic and therapeutic methods in the treatment of diseases, in order to enhance ways to improve the quality of Health and therapeutic services in the fields of: medical laboratories, community health technologies, nursing and therapeutic pharmacology .
At the end of his speech, he thanked the scientific committee and the participating researchers, hoping that their research would find a wide resonance for its application in practice, and thanks are extended to the preparatory and media committee and all the supporting committees that contributed to the achievement of this qualitative conference .
For his part, the chairman of the preparatory committee for the conference and dean of the Technical Institute of Kufa, professor Dr. Fadel Sami Zagir, pointed out that the conference presented (61 ) sixty-one research working papers, including papers from outside Iraq submitted by international universities, and other from Iraqi universities in the center and the region, and the main speakers of this scientific conference were accredited from the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the third and fourth were from Zakho University and Duhok Technical University .
It is noteworthy that the topics of the conference included medical laboratory techniques, community health techniques, nursing techniques, pharmaceutical and therapeutic techniques, diagnostic and therapeutic techniques .
