Al-Zubaidy inaugurates the “Hall of Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy”, former president of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University

On a Ramadan evening..The meeting hall at the presidency of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, which is another edifice and landmark added to the series of achievements achieved by the University in recent times, was named after Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, former president of the University, in honor of his efforts in developing the University during his work as president of the University and in recognition of his contributions made for this purpose, it was opened by Prof. Dr. Hassan Latif Kazem al-Zubaidy, president of the University, in the presence of members of the university council, department directors and a number of associates to hold meetings, conferences and seminars .
It is noteworthy that the hall that was opened was with a construction area of approximately 600 square meters designed according to the latest technical specifications and with a record time period of six months, and the modernity and heritage in the construction that characterized the university buildings were taken into account .
The main building, which was implemented directly by the Department of construction and projects at the university presidency, consists of two parts, the first for meeting rapporteurs and meeting management and the other part for the attendees, topped by a white dome coated with white Karbala brick .it is also mentioned that the hall is equipped with modern technologies, smart screens, sound systems, a control room, high-quality furniture, as well as two health complexes, a cafeteria for hospitality and information.
On the other hand, the space surrounding the building adjacent to the Al-Milad Tower building, which has an area of acres, has been planted with trees, perennial and shady trees for a sustainable and attractive environment for students and associates .
The president of the University blessed the exceptional efforts made by the employees of the Departments of construction, projects and Diwan Affairs and all the committees that contributed to the implementation of this project, wishing them success and repayment .
