Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University ranks sixth in the Webometrics ranking in its special edition for the year 2024

Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University ranked sixth out of one hundred Iraqi universities and colleges in the Webometrics ranking in its special edition for the year 2024 .
The results of the ranking showed that (32,000) university institutions around the world compete according to the indicators of virtual attendance of universities through their locations and measuring the percentage of clarity (50%), transparency (10%) and the strength and excellence of research (40%).
The ranking is an indicator of the University’s global impact by using its website to disseminate knowledge among students, researchers and the community .
The Webometrics ranking is based on several indicators that show the University’s success in dealing with modern teaching methods, the results of scientific research, and the use of effective social networking sites with the community, industrial and economic sectors .
The University’s ranking in this ranking is influenced by the quality of the content it provides through its website and the extent of its openness to communicating with followers and scientific researchers .
This classification reflects the University’s strength in providing outstanding educational and research content that benefits students and the scientific community . It also reflects the efforts made by the University in developing and improving teaching methods and expanding the scope of Education .
The president of the University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Latif Kadhim Al-Zubaidi, blessed this achievement and extended his thanks and appreciation to all the seminars that worked hard and diligently to reach this honorable result, which contributed in one way or another to show the bright image of the University .
