The members and students of Al-Furat Al-Awsay Technical University in all its formations organized a solemn ceremony to honor and bid farewell to the summit of higher education and scientific research, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy for his outstanding scientific efforts in his leadership and administrative career, which spanned over thirty-seven years, in which he held several positions in higher education, where he served as deans of Baquba Institute, the Institute of training trainers, the Institute of technology Baghdad, the Engineering Technical College Baghdad, the president of the Southern Technical University and the last president of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University .

The farewell ceremony was attended by assistants, deans of colleges and institutes, department directors and a gathering of faculty members, associates and students .

In his speech during the ceremony, the president of the University, Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, expressed his deep thanks and gratitude to everyone for their support and cooperation during his tenure as president, and also expressed his pride in what has been achieved during his presidency and confidence that the university will continue to develop and succeed under the leadership of the new president of the University .

The farewell ceremony included special and touching speeches that addressed his scientific career full of creativity, excellence and giving, which combined science, leadership, management and job satisfaction .

The ceremony is an opportunity for everyone to express their gratitude and appreciation for the efforts of the president of the University and his great contributions during his tenure as president of the University .

The assistant deans, department directors, faculty representatives and students spoke about his role in building the human being and the wonderful achievements achieved by the university under his leadership, pointing to the development of the University’s infrastructure and the improvements of the academic programs that have been implemented .

The ceremony concluded with honoring Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy with symbolic gifts reflecting the University’s gratitude and appreciation for his contributions .
