Al-Zuhairy meets university students on scholarships to the Malaysian USM University

Within the framework of the visit of the delegation of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University to the state of Malaysia, which aims to open scientific and cultural relations with the Malaysian Science University USM .
The president of the University, prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, met with students on scholarships from Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, and pointed out in his speech that the visit comes in light of the directives of the Ministry of higher education and scientific research, represented by the person of His Excellency Minister Dr. Naim al-Aboudi on the globalization of universities (University Internationalization ) through the conclusion of memorandums of understanding for joint cooperation with reputable international universities, which contribute to raising the reputation of Iraqi universities in international forums .
Al-Zuhairy stressed the importance of transferring experiences, success stories and ideas that contribute to the development of higher education, provided that those ideas and visions are in harmony with the culture of Iraqi society, pointing out that the scholarship students represent the ambassadors of the university to the world .
In another aspect of his speech, Al-Zuhairy stressed the need to adopt research projects that contribute to finding solutions to real problems suffered by the state sectors and in various specialties, especially that community service and meeting the needs of the labor market are among the priorities of work at the University .
After that, the president of the University listened to his students, where he reviewed the nature of their research projects and their observations about USM University and the ideas and experiences that can be transferred to Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University .he also stressed his support for them and the readiness of the university to overcome all the difficulties that may face them during their academic career, wishing them success and success.
