Al-Zuhairy visits the Southern Technical University and attends the opening ceremony of its seventh international scientific conference.

As part of communication with technical universities and coordinating joint work, Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, visited the Southern Technical University. He congratulated its president, Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, on assuming his position, wishing him success.
In another part of his visit, Al-Zuhairy attended the opening ceremony of the university’s seventh international scientific conference, organized by the College of Administrative Technology in Basra. The conference focuses on virtual reality applications in administrative, financial, economic, and information technology sciences, with the participation of researchers from local and foreign universities, presenting twenty-nine research papers related to the conference theme.
Al-Zuhairy, in a statement to the media, emphasized the importance of holding such conferences in exchanging ideas and insights among participants and learning from others’ experiences in dealing with emerging developments in all aspects of life.
During his visit, the university president was accompanied by Vice President for Scientific affairs , Dr. Ahmed Ganem Wadai, and the director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, Assistant Dr. Ali Najah Al-Shimani.
