Al-Zuhairy Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the Technical University of Civil Engineering in Bucharest

As part of a series of activities by the delegation of technical universities currently visiting Romania, Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Technical University of Civil Engineering in Bucharest.
The memorandum of understanding, which was signed by Al-Zuhairy in the presence of members of the visiting delegation, included several axes for scientific and cultural cooperation proposed in a preliminary format for a detailed memorandum of understanding to be signed later between the two universities. The axes included the possibility of conducting joint scientific research, joint supervision of postgraduate students, exchange of professors, capacity building, student exchange, and organizing joint workshops and scientific conferences in the field of civil engineering.
Earlier in his tour, Al-Zuhairy visited research laboratories and a number of workshops and halls at several Romanian universities and research institutions, as well as attending a number of meetings that included presentations on the most important activities and events in the universities that were visited.
