Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, chaired an extensive meeting of the central committee for the graduation ceremony of undergraduate and postgraduate students for the academic year 2022-2023. The meeting was attended by administrative and academic assistants to the university president, as well as several deans of departments in Najaf province and all committee members.

Al-Zuhairy emphasized the importance of completing the preparations to ensure that the ceremony is presented in the best possible way. The ceremony is scheduled to take place in mid-November at the main celebration square, which has been equipped with additional facilities this year.

He also highlighted the logistical preparations necessary to hold this blessed ceremony, which will see the graduation of thousands of students entering the job market in various technological, administrative, medical, agricultural, and applied arts disciplines. He stressed that this year’s ceremony should be exceptional by all standards, befitting the university’s status and reputation.

During the meeting, the progress of tasks assigned to the sub-committees was reviewed, as well as the preparation of the venue for the celebration.

The meeting concluded with contributions from the assistant members regarding the ceremony’s agenda, as well as listening to some proposals from committee members, discussing them, and making necessary decisions.
