On the occasion of the university’s celebrations of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), and under the gracious sponsorship of Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, the fourth edition of the Excellence Day events for the academic year 2022-2023 was launched at the university’s headquarters.
The celebration was attended by members of the university council, including assistants, deans, and department directors.
In his speech, the university president congratulated the deans and attendees, extending his greetings to all the members and students of the university on the occasion of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the start of the new academic year.
Al-Zuhairy highlighted the noble biography and virtues of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), as mentioned in the Holy Quran and the Hadith, calling for inspiration from his noble biography and all its aspects and meanings that words and meanings cannot fully encompass.
He also mentioned the achievements that have been realized at the university recently, despite the challenges, affirming that the journey of giving, building, and reconstruction will never stop, thanks to the efforts of the dedicated members and students of the university. He expressed hope that the university will have a promising start in the upcoming academic year 2023-2024.
In conclusion, Al-Zuhairy expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all the members of the university, including faculty, technical, administrative, and academic leaders, wishing them success in achieving the goals and aspirations of the university.
The ceremony included the honoring of more than 300 members of the faculty, technicians, administrators, and service employees with certificates of appreciation and cash rewards, based on specific criteria for determining excellence by the university deanships.
