Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, chaired an extensive meeting of the Central Committee for the graduation ceremony of postgraduate and undergraduate students for the academic year 2022-2023, in the presence of the Administrative Assistant to the President of the University and a number of deans of the colleges in Najaf Governorate, and all members.
Al-Zuhairy emphasized the necessity of completing the preparations to showcase the ceremony in the best possible way, which is planned to be held in late November in the main celebration square, after additional sites were prepared this year.
Al-Zuhairy pointed out the important logistical preparations that should be taken to hold this blessed ceremony, which carries within it the graduation of thousands of students who annually enter the job market in various technological, administrative, medical, agricultural, and applied arts specializations. He emphasized that this year’s ceremony should be a special one by all standards befitting the scientific status and reputation of the university.
During the meeting, the tasks and duties of the members of the Central Committee were reviewed, as well as the preparation of the location on which the celebration will be held.
The meeting concluded with interventions from Administrative Assistant Vice president for administration affairs and the deans regarding the celebration program, followed by listening to the opinions of the committee members, discussing them, and setting a date for the next meeting to review the progress stages of the required items and monitor them periodically.
