Amidst an atmosphere of joy and happiness, the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, met with the workers in the service sector at the university, including 180 workers, within a qualitative initiative adopted by the university to honor this important group who contribute with their continuous efforts in maintaining a distinguished university environment. The event was attended by the university’s assistants, department managers, and workers in the service sector.

The ceremony began with a speech by the university president, praising the efforts and dedication of the service workers and emphasizing the importance of their vital role in achieving the university’s vision and enhancing its prestigious reputation. He noted that any achievement in the university is not possible without the cooperation and efforts of these loyal workers.

Al-Zuhairy spoke about the value of precise work, commitment in performing tasks, dedication, and excellence in all aspects of life. He also emphasized the university’s policy of evaluating performance based on the efforts made and excellence in work, citing a Quranic verse that emphasizes the importance of precise work and a prophetic hadith that praises the quality of work.

Al-Zuhairy highlighted the important role of workers in the service sector, where they play a decisive role in providing a clean and comfortable university environment for students and staff, in addition to being the invisible but essential elements in facilitating the educational and administrative process.

Al-Zuhairy reviewed some of the achievements of workers in various fields such as maintenance, cleanliness, and agriculture, where he highlighted the creativity and diligence they show in performing their daily tasks. He expressed his great happiness with this special celebration in which the workers participated, wishing success for all attendees and encouraging them to continue serving our beloved Iraq.

During the ceremony, the university’s service workers, consisting of 180 workers, were honored with financial rewards.
