As part of the renaissance of construction and development witnessed by the University and its quest to upgrade the educational and service infrastructure, the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, inaugurated the model study halls complex at the Diwaniyah Technical Institute in the presence of the assistants to the President of the University and a number of deans of the university formations and directors of departments at the university presidency and a group of affiliates and students at the institute.
It is noteworthy that the model study halls complex included two model halls with a total area of 700 square meters, each of which can accommodate 180 male and female students, in addition to an administrative office with an architectural engineering design that simulates modernity and equipped with advanced teaching aids such as smart interactive whiteboards, sound systems and high quality furniture, this comes within the university’s orientation to achieve an attractive and model university environment and provide the best services to students.
The President of the University delivered a speech in which he pointed out that the march of reconstruction in the University is moving forward in all formations within the geographical area after it started in June 2019, which resulted in the inauguration of many important projects, the goal of which was to achieve an exemplary university environment for solid high-level education. Pointing at the same time that the progress that has taken place in the university has included all joints of work side by side with the joint of reconstruction and building.
Al-Zuhairy also praised the efforts made by the Dean’s Office and the supporting departments to upgrade all performance joints to achieve a sustainable and comfortable university environment for students and professors, stressing that there are other promising projects that will see the light in the university presidency and all its formations during the coming period.
He pointed out that the projects were implemented directly by the Department of Reconstruction and Projects in the University Presidency and the engineering and technical capabilities in the Institute, where high specifications were adopted in equipping the projects to achieve high quality education.
On the other hand, the Dean of the Diwaniyah Technical Institute, Assistant Professor Dr. Zaid Mu’in Al-Dulaimi, delivered a speech in which he expressed his thanks and high appreciation to the University Presidency for the support it provides to all formations, praising all the efforts that resulted in achieving these accomplishments and stressing that the institute is continuing to implement many reconstruction and construction projects to provide the best services to students and affiliates.
At the end of the ceremony, the President of the University, Professor Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy honored the committees that contributed to the implementation of these projects, wishing them success and righteousness and blessing their efforts.
