In the context of the reconstruction and construction campaign taking place in Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, inaugurated a number of important projects at the Kufa Technical Institute, and it included a model building for the Information Technology Division that includes four model laboratories for computers, as well as an advanced studio for recording electronic lectures via technology Light board and a number of administrative offices and service accessories.
Pointing out that the laboratories were equipped with the best types of furniture and devices such as computers and other accessories that meet the high level of training for students.
The projects that were inaugurated also included a central hall for conferences, which can accommodate two hundred and forty people, and was equipped with the best types of furniture and equipment, making it a typical hall for holding conferences, activities, and scientific and cultural events.

In the same context, Al-Zuhairy inaugurated the Continuing Education Hall, which is designated for holding courses.
During the opening ceremony, Al-Zuhairy gave a speech in which he indicated that the march of ages in the university is moving forward in all formations within the geographical area after it was launched in mid-June of the year 2019 and resulted in the opening of many important projects, the aim of which was to achieve a model university environment for a solid education High level. Pointing out at the same time that the progress achieved in the university has included all aspects of work, along with the construction and construction aspects.
The President of the University indicated in another aspect of his speech that the secret of success lies in teamwork, as well as the availability of sincere intention and true will to build and provide the best.
At the end of his speech, Al-Zuhairy extended his thanks and appreciation to the Deanship of the Institute and to all the circles that contributed to the realization of this achievement, foremost among them the engineering and technical staff in the Engineering Division, the Services Division, and the Construction and Projects Departments in the University Presidency and the Court Affairs for their good efforts in follow-up that resulted in achieving this achievement.
For his part, the Dean of the Kufa Technical Institute, Prof. Dr. Fadel Sami Zughair, delivered a speech during the opening ceremony, in which he expressed his thanks and appreciation to the President of the University, the assistants, and the Director of the Construction and Projects Department in the Presidency of the University and the engineering and technical committees at the Institute, who worked hard and diligently throughout the implementation of the projects.
He also referred in his speech to other achievements made at the Institute in recent years, including scientific conferences, events and humanitarian initiatives adopted by the Deanship of the Institute in community service. special needs .
The opening ceremony was attended by members of the university council, a number of guests from the Najaf Chamber of Industry, department directors in the university presidency, and a large number of students and associates.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of certificates appreciating the efforts of the Dean of the Institute and the female members of the engineering, technical and support committees presented by the President of the University.
