The President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, inaugurated the Software Exhibition in its second edition of the projects of undergraduate students of the Information Technology Department at the Kufa Technical College, which was held in the halls of the college library,
The exhibition witnessed the participation of the Islamic University, the College of Imam Al-Kadhim, peace be upon him, the university, the holy Alawite and Abbasid thresholds, as well as the wide participation of a number of computer and communications companies.
Al-Zuhairy was accompanied in the opening of the exhibition by the Dean of the Kufa Technical College, Prof. Dr. Fadhil Abdul Abbas Al-Abedi, and the Dean of the Kufa Technical Institute, Prof. Dr. Fadel Sami Zghair, and the attendance of a number of department directors at the university presidency, assistants, heads of departments, affiliates and students.
Al-Zuhairy, for his part, closely viewed the students’ projects, which included (32) thirty-two projects in different programming languages that simulate different applications such as artificial intelligence programs, the Internet of Things (IoT) and human resources and marketing programs. It is noteworthy that four projects were for students of the Imam Al-Kadhim University, peace be upon him, the Department of Computer Engineering, and four other projects for students of the Islamic University.
The president of the university expressed his admiration for the promising programming projects he saw for students that qualify them to enter the labor market armed with scientific applied projects. His Eminence added that the first step to develop and build society and correct the path in all fields begins from the university represented by its professors, students and technical cadres. Thanking these sincere efforts of the Dean of the College and the Head of the Information Technology Department, professors and students, wishing them more progress and innovation.
The Dean of the College expressed his thanks and gratitude to the President of the University for his continuous support for the college and his sponsorship of such initiatives and his wise guidance to uplift our university and its formations at the local, Arab and international levels. He also thanked all those in charge of this exhibition and the participating students, wishing them success in serving our dear country.
Finally, the President of the University honored the participating delegations with a certificate of appreciation for their efforts.
