Under the patronage of the President of ALFurat ALAwsat Technical University Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, the Department of Scientific Affairs at the Presidency of the University held a training course for teachers and graduate students entitled (Indexing the list of references for solid research using the EndNote program) Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ghanem Waday, the vice president for Scientific Affairs, welcomed the attendees and pointed to the importance of scientific research and its role in solving the problems faced by various sectors of work in Iraq and its role in developing the teaching staff and raising the university’s position in the rankings.
Also stressed the continuous support of the University Presidency for researchers and graduate students to develop their capabilities the course, which was lectured by the Director of the Department of Scientific Affairs, Mr. Ali Abdul Hussein Al-Dhalami and the head of the mechanical department at the Najaf Technical Institute, Dr. Salah Mahdi Saleh, in which more than thirty teachers and graduate students participated in the faculties and institutes of the university.
The course included theoretical and practical lectures on the global scientific research map and how to choose a sober journal to publish research and avoid hijacked journals.
In addition to the method of downloading and using EndNote to facilitate the process of using sources and referring to them when writing scientific research and the effort and high accuracy provided by the program.
