As part of the department's activities related to community service, the Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Fadel Mohammad Daher, in the Department of Community Health Technologies at the Technical Institute of Karbala, in cooperation with the Iraqi Red Crescent Society, the Holy Karbala Branch, opened a training program entitled (First Aid for Emergency Situations), during which a number of the department's teachers gave lectures The theory about the principles and priorities of first aid and the qualifications of the first paramedic and aiding the injured in the work environment,Mr. Samer Nizar from the Red Crescent Society gave a practical training, in which he involved the students of the department, on how to save the lives of the injured at the accident site, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation for the unconscious and first aid for suffocation by training the students using illustrative dolls, in addition to first aid methods for gas poisoning, snake and scorpion stings, and first aid for bleeding, burns and fractures. Wounds and how to evacuate the injured from the accident site. At the end of the training program, the Dean of the Technical Institute in Karbala, Prof. Dr. Fadel Mohammad Daher, and in the presence of the Director of the Red Crescent Society, Mr. Falah Mohammad Reda, and Mr. Adnan Jawad Mutiwi, the assistant director, presented certificates of appreciation to the members of the participating team from the Iraqi Red Crescent Society, thanking them for their fruitful cooperation and high sense of responsibility.
