The University of Al-Furat Al-Awsat is prepared to introduce the Polonia educational curriculum

Under the direct supervision of the chancellor of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, a workshop was held to implement the Polonia educational program at the bachelor’s degree level in the Department of Tourism Technologies. The new department will be introduced in 2022–2023 as part of the TVET2 project (creating job opportunities by strengthening the technical and vocational education system and labor market).
By approving ECTS units, the workshop will give the most recent update on the method for aligning the Department of Tourism’s study programs with those of the European Higher Education Area.
The program mentioned above employs control-developed mechanisms to design student-centered certificate programs based on competence and outcomes after receiving comments and input from tourism specialists from the Italian University of Pisa.
The program (Polonia) also intends to generate a qualitative leap in the structure of higher education programs to increase graduates’ skills, make them more employable, and enhance their future work performance.
