Dr. Alia Abdul-Hussein Lafta (Head of the IT Center at the Technical College of Engineering/Najaf-ATU University) took part in the Arab Championship for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, which took place in Egypt from July 1 to 4, 2022.
The Arab Championship was won by three Iraqi teams selected by the National Robotics Championship in Iraq. This competition features 12 Arab nations as well as 1,600 students from throughout the Arab globe.
Iraqi students took the following positions:
Stemile Heroes: finished first in the Arab world in the ball collecting tournament.
Mr. Wael Al-Akaishi is the coach.
Heroes: Won the Line Tracking Competition’s Best Collaborating Team Award.
Mr. Mustafa Mohamed is the coach.
Stemile Roses: Won the Line Tracking Competition’s Best Performance Award.
Dr. Alia Abdul-Hussein Lafta is the trainer.
It is worth noting that the competition is about the design and programming of robots, and high-level Arab experts conducted the judging.
