Al-Zuhairy reports that Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University (ATU) has been awarded an IREX grant for minor projects assisting Iraqi universities

Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, Chancellor of ATU University, announced that the University had secured the IREX award to fund modest initiatives at Iraqi universities. Last year, the University Presidency filed a scholarship scheme that included the reservation of study opportunities for several university affiliates to achieve an internationally recognized qualification in WORK HEALTH AND SAFETY (WHS). Graduates will be competent to train members of the University, universities, and other institutions in the subject mentioned above (WHS).
The Chancellor of the University commended everybody involved, particularly the Department of Scientific Affairs, through the Translation and International Relations Unit (TIR) in the University’s chancellery.
