Ten Iraqi institutions engage under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research supervision during the INSPIRE project training session. Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, chancellor of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University (ATU), who leads the delegation of participating Iraqi universities, met with advanced leaders at the University of Bologna. The meeting was attended by Dr. Muwaffaq Samir, Director of the Ministry’s Department of Organizations and International Relations, and Dr. Ahmed Ghanem Waday, vice chancellor for scientific affairs. The chancellor of ATU University evaluated several proposals concerning the areas in which Iraqi institutions and the University of Bologna might collaborate. While Dr. Mowaffaq Samir, a representative of the Ministry of Higher Education and the visiting delegation, shared his thoughts on implementation strategies. The two parties decided to continue conversations until they achieved a mutual understanding shortly.
