The Department of Electricity Technologies at the Najaf Technical Institute installed an integrated solar energy system to provide electrical energy to the department’s classrooms and laboratories, reducing harmful emissions from fuel and electric generators.
Dr. Eng. Haider Hassan Al-Abdali, Dean of the Technical Institute of Najaf, emphasized the significance of transitioning to alternative energy, particularly solar energy, and the benefits.
Dr. Sarab Moussa, the head of the Department of Electrical Technologies, stated that the project was part of the department’s plan for students’ graduation projects.
It is worth mentioning that the project was carried out under the supervision of specialist professionals with extensive expertise and efficiency and the efforts of the department’s lecturers, technicians, and students.
