The inauguration of the technical studio at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University

Aiming to develop the efficiency of the e-learning … the Chancellor of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, inaugurated the technical studio at the university main chancellery site. In his speech, Prof. Al-Zuhairy indicated that such an approach represents a quantum leap in the field of electronic education since the new technology offers better interactions between lecturers and students since it allows direct transition of lectures along with recording capability and broadcasting them on the university websites and other students learning webs.
In this respect, Prof. Al-Zuhairy praised the efforts made by the IT technical team in charge of the project, which is the first of its kind in Iraq, calling for its employees to serve students and enhance electronic education, indicating that ATU university is willing to help any other Iraqi university to establish a similar project.
On the other hand, In his speech, Dr. Mustafa Kazem Taqi, Head of the IT Center who supervises the project, summarized the advantages of the new studio, which enables the lecturers from simulating the in-class teaching activities using this studio with the advantage that the lecture is facing the students all the time.
The university vice-chancellors attended the inauguration for scientific affairs and administrative affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ghanem Weddey and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Mohsen Al-Majtoumi, respectively. It is also attended by several university department directors, people and unit officials, and associates.
