The Chancellor of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University (ATU), Professor Dr. Muthaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy chaired the first meeting of the committee preparing the university’s strategy for the next five years 2021-2026, which was previously instructed by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The university Chancellor stressed that the world becomes
different from before due to Corona pandemic , therefore thinking and working
strategies must be different from the traditional ways.
He urged the members of the committee to make the vision for
the next stage distinct and in order to achieve ambition, pointing at the same
time to the general lines for building the strategy, among which is that the
committee analyzes the strengths, weaknesses and threats through the use of
global systems so that it can develop the correct and accurate plans.
