Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University Organizes Mourning Ceremonies for the Victims of the Tragic Sinking of the Ferry in the City of Mosul

The technical colleges and institutes of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University staff and students have organized three days morning ceremonies for the victims of the tragic sinking of the ferry in the beloved city of Mosul, which killed hundreds of innocent people.
The Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Abdul Kadhim Jafar Al-Yasiri, announced that the presidency of the university, with all its staff and the university students, stands side by side with the victims’ families and shares their sorrows and delays all aspects of the celebration 
and activities. The prayers included reciting Surah Al-Fatiha on the souls of the martyrs, lighting candles and raising slogans and singing poetic poems that sang in the national mourning. They expressed their sorrow and condolences to the families of the victims, praising God for their mercy and comfort in their lives and inspiring their families and loved ones patience and solace.
