Director of the Department of Scientific Affairs Participates in the Facts-Investigation Program Established by the British Council in London

Professor Ali Abdul Hussein Al-Dhlami, Director of the Department of Scientific Affairs at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, participated in the fact-investigation program established by the British Council in London and with the participation of UNESCO and with the support of the European Union to learn about the Technical and vocational education and training system TVET system in Britain.
The program included multi lectures from stakeholders and other educational institutions concerned, in addition to field visits to the Ministry of Education and one pre-selected college.
The prospects of benefiting from the program for the development of vocational and technical education and training in Iraq were also discussed and urges to provide the employers with their needs and effectively participating them in the development and implementation of the curriculum, as well as the evaluation of students and ensuring the employment of graduates in professions that suits their studied programs according to the requirements of the labor market.
