Within the activities of choosing Baghdad as the Capital of Arab Media 2018, under the patronage of The Chacelor of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University. The Media and Public Relations Department at the University, in cooperation with the Department of Public Relations and Media at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, held an extensive workshop entitled(Governmental Communication and its Role in Activating the work in educational institutions) for the media of the university and its formations as well as the media departments of the province of Najaf, in the presence of the government liaison officer in the Ministry and Vice-Chancelor for Scientific Affairs Assistant Prof. Dr. Ahmed Wadday and deans of colleges and institutes of the university and held on the Central hall of University.
The activities of the workshop began with a scattering of Ayat al-Quran Al-Hakim and then playing for the Iraqi national anthem. After reading Al-Fatihah on the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, the most honorable of us all. In a speech to the university Chancelor, Prof.Dr. Al-Yasiri talked about the bright pages of the university that should be mentioned and not forgotten. In the same context and on the occasion of the selection of Baghdad as the capital of the Arab media, he asked the deans to have a program to participate in the Baghdad International Fair, which will be held in October and to be reserved place to display the marching aircraft that was manufactured and displayed at the Engineering College Najaf and also for the cars (drift) Develop and transform them at Najaf Technical Institute.
After that, Mr. Ali Hassan Hadi, government liaison officer in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, was given the opportunity to talk about the nature of the governmental communication and how to activate its role and the role of the educational institutions with it through feedback with government departments.
