Projects & Construction Department It is one of the main and an important department in the formation of our university includes a number of associates who specialize in various engineering matters of engineers and technicians (such as architectural, civil, electricity, mechanics … etc.) and some supported administrative specialties. Section Goals: The department aims to develop plans and prepare plans for the projects to be announced after obtaining the fundamental approvals by the Ministry and follow up after the assignment and during the implementation and even during the maintenance period and treatment the problems of implementation for work continuation. Activities: The department is preparing a plan for future projects for the coming year in cooperation with the eleven university formations, in addition to being the link between the technical education and engineering departments and the resident engineer services for these formations as well as the intention of hosting the cadres of the resident engineer to find out the problems that hinder the work of projects and strive to solve them within the contexts Approved. Department Structure: Divisions of the Department: The Department has three Divisions: A.Follow-up Division: One of the important Divisions, which carries out follow-up tasks for projects that are implemented within the investment plan, which are projects transmitted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and provincial development projects implemented by the provinces. B. Planning Division: One of the important Divisions, which is preparing the future plan and the needs of university formations of projects and submit them for implementation after studying the feasibility study of the project and its importance to be implemented according to need and importance. C. Implementation Division: One of the important Divisions that is entrusted with the study of the implementation of any project under implementation and study requests for changes, deletion and development of the paragraphs of the project within the requests of the resident engineer services in addition to the study of the predecessor of the contractors submitted by the resident services and the extent of conformity in terms of quantities and prices of the tables of quantities approved and approved before submission to the Accounts Unit For exchange purposes.
